Melbourne Instructor Training
« on: February 07, 2008, 10:45:43 AM »
Those interested in becoming instructors and helping with the association are reminded that instructor training in Melbourne is run at 12pm every Sunday, except for the last Sunday of the month. Meeting at the State Library.

Anybody is welcome, but only if you are genuinely interested in becoming an instructor for the Australian Parkour Association. It is to be treated as simply an opportunity to train with the instructors, and people who turn up with the wrong attitude will be asked to leave.

Regardless of skill level, you are encouraged to attend, although it is not appropriate for an absolute beginner as a reasonable level of fitness, and basic grasp of techniques is required. It is also expected that you have at least attended a couple of Australian Parkour Association classes.

If you have any questions or queries feel free to ask an instructor at class, or post in this thread.

We always appreciate new people wishing to become instructors and contribute to the Australian Parkour Association, and welcome everybody and anyone, but please be aware that becoming an Austrlian Parkour Association instructor it is not for everybody.

Instructor training requires discipline and commitment, be aware that it is rarely easy training.

More information about APA instructors can be found here.

On the "end of month" training, when it starts an hour and a half earlier.
Is instructor training still running?
